Dating Your Ex Girlfriend Again - Is It Worth It In The End?

I think that just about every guy has had the fantasy of being able to go back to an old girlfriend and see if they can somehow rekindle things with her. The question is, would it be worth it to date an ex girlfriend again if you had that chance? That's not something that is just going to have one answer that fits everyone, though. There are definitely variables that come into play that you need to be concerned with. So, what are those things that you need to be concerned with to determine if it is a good idea to date an ex girlfriend?

1. You need to be concerned with whether or not she has been dating since the break up.

Now, just finding out that she has dated since the two of you broke up is not really a bad thing. We all have to rebound, right? What you want to determine, though, is if she is currently involved with someone. You don't want to have to deal with the drama of trying to win her back when she is in a relationship with another guy if you don't have to. Plus, you may find that whomever it is that she is with right now is making her happy and then, you don't want to be the guy that tried to take away her happiness.

2. You need to be concerned with whether or not she is the woman that you remember.

I had an ex girlfriend that I didn't see for a couple of years and when I did run into her again, boy oh boy was I glad that she was an ex girlfriend and not a current one. She had become someone else and that new woman wasn't the kind of woman I'd want to date. Maybe you don't have that much time in between breaking up and seeing her again, but you still want to get an idea of who she is right now. She might not be the woman that you used to know.

3. You also need to be concerned with whether or not your ex girlfriend is still attracted to you.

In most situations, as long as there is some attraction that is alive between you and her, you should be able to find a way to get her back and start dating her again. If you feel like there is NO attraction at all, then you might not have that much of a chance.

So, is it worth it to date an ex girlfriend again? It can be. You might find that you are able to work things out and that it makes you and her have a stronger relationship. Or, you might find that it is not really going to work out at all and that the fantasy of being able to date her is much better than the reality.
